Why's it so hard, to see you? I preach your love, but can't see you The world is small, green and blue I'll drink your blood, to see you Why's it so hard, to see you? I preach your love, but can't see you The world is small, green and blue I'll drink your blood, to see you Why's it so hard, to see you? I preach your love, but can't see you The world is small, green and blue I drink your blood, to see you

Pick up the bones you’ve hurried along and buried Don’t be alarmed the changes that come are shocking Give Yourself Into Love Love hard as I can, give you all I am Love hard as I can, hmm, give you all I am, hey I mean, what I gotta take a blood oath girl, all we gotta focus on is growth, girl Got a little one, prepared to do the most Lovesick and imma need another dose It’s the only thing I wanted After all this time, I was hoping you would give it your all this time I believe it ain’t nowhere we couldn’t go I mean, who gon’ tell us what we can’t do? Girl, tell me somethin’ I ain’t ever know about, I could take you somewhere that you never knew I just need all of you, I just need all of you, I just need all of you All of the days you’ve numbered don’t add to many, what matters the most is fighting the urge to give up Keep moving on and upwards and when you’re ready, give yourself into love I mean, what I gotta take a blood oath girl, all we gotta focus on is growth, girl Got a little one, prepared to do the most Lovesick and imma need another dose It’s the only thing I wanted After all this time, I was hoping you would give it your all this time I believe it ain’t nowhere we couldn’t go I mean, who gon’ tell us what we can’t do? Love hard as I can, give you all I am Love hard as I can, hmm, give you all I am, hey I just need all of you, I just need all of you I just need all of you, I just need all of you I just need all of you

You and me, we're bound to be together, together You and me, we're bound to be together, forever I could see it in your eyes, that you've never had a love like this before (love like this before) Cause' you and me, we're bound to be together, together, forever So in love, a smile on my face the moment I step outside It's alive, and spinning out of control Don't be shy, I know we both got the same things on our mind We're alive, in a way that I've never known, and I never wanna let you go (love like this before) You and me, we're bound to be together, together You and me, we're bound to be together So in love, a smile on my face the moment I step outside It's alive, and spinning out of control So in love, a smile on my face the moment I step outside It's alive, and spinning out of control Don't be shy, I know we both got the same things on our mind We're alive, in a way that I've never known, and I never wanna let you go (love like this before) (never wanna let you go)

Don’t lie, you’re not excited when you see me You don’t come by anymore like you used to And I’m shy, build up the courage just to text you And you don’t reply so fast like you used to But it’s alright, it’s ok I’m probably better off on my own these days I understand, you’re not to blame I guess I’m just upset that you’re goin’ away I’m cyin’ honey, every night Last time, I dreamt I help you ‘til the morning You’d be surprised how that happens so often And you lied, you told me somethin’ and then took it back You were just drunk and didn’t know where your heart was at But it’s alright, it’s ok I’m probably better off on my own these days I understand, you’re not to blame I guess I’m just upset that you’re goin’ away I tried I’m cryin’ honey, every night Goodbye honey, I tried I’m cryin’ honey, every night

I can do the thing, I’m put here for My dying name, a tug of war I can do the thing, I’m not too sure My dying name, a tug of war Tug of war (I can do) I can do the thing, I’m put here for My dying name, a tug of war I can do the thing, I’m not too sure My dying name, a tug of war Yo, harder to believe, they ain’t got a choice if it’s me Call it what it be, wonder what you thought you would see Honor amongst thieves, took it beyond what you need Do it how I please, knowing what I do is out your reach Knowing what I do is predestined, need reppin’ And all I had you used to me steppin’ it was etched in No dressin’ truly we blessed with No more less when we exit We connected, reason why we came here and did the unexpected (a tug of war) I can do the thing, I’m put here for My dying name, a tug of war I can do the thing, I’m not too sure My dying name, a tug of war Tug of war Tug of war (I can do)

about

Long Island indie-rock band Gamblers have released their new EP, When We Exit, today. The band has shared a new music video for “Bound 2 Be Together”, pulling from 80s-pop and club music; the video shows the trio skewering retro detective shows, shot in their native Long Island. The new effort from the trio sees them teaming up with Providence dream-pop stalwart NOVA ONE, Chicago rap mainstay Mick Jenkins and New York’s own Skyzoo. They announced the release of When We Exit, with the dreamy electronic psych-pop single “Preach Your Love” featuring NOVA ONE. Last month they released the house-indebted clubby Mick Jenkins feature on “Another Dose.” While the first taste of Gamblers’ new EP showed the band’s ability to compose compelling dream-pop meets indie-rock, their fluidity is on full display on When We Exit, which dabbles in house, pop, and hip-hop production. On When We Exit, Gamblers flex their pop sensibilities and knack for writing incredibly replayable and catchy songs that are the core of the band's ethos.

about

Gamblers New York

For Gamblers leader Michael McManus, a few too many brushes with mortality have him feeling like there’s a great force threatening to pound him literally into dust. Pulverizer however isn't a dark album. Gamblers serve a rousing fusion of organic and electronic sounds. It's the ultimate afterparty album that hasn’t entirely left the celebration behind. ... more
